Wash gently with plenty of foam

As with regular body washing, be sure to wash gently with plenty of foam.
We also recommend avoiding washing with a hard sponge, as this can damage your skin.
Please see below for more details.

1. Make lots of bubbles with soap

The fluffy lather of well-lathered soap has sufficient cleansing power.
This means you don’t have to scrub, which reduces the burden on your skin.

2. Gently wash your armpits

If you scrub your body with a nylon towel or similar to remove dirt,
you could damage your delicate skin and remove too much of the necessary sebum and dead skin cells that don’t need to be removed.
So, wash gently with a smooth motion.

3. Rinse off the foam thoroughly with lukewarm water

The warmth of the water relaxes your nerves and opens your pores, allowing you to thoroughly wash away dirt deep within.
The warm water also dissolves any sebum and dead skin cells remaining on your skin, allowing you to remove them.
If soap scum remains, it can become food for resident bacteria and cause a stronger underarm odor.
For this reason, make sure to lather the soap thoroughly before use and rinse it off thoroughly.

Although it’s basic, if you follow these three steps carefully and wash gently, you can expect to be able to reduce odor.

Wash the points gently

Some people are so concerned about body odor that they scrub their armpits to remove sweat and sebum, but this can have the opposite effect.

The cause of body odor is the mixture of sweat from the apocrine glands, resident bacteria, and sebum. Resident bacteria include types such as Staphylococcus aureus and fungi, and scrubbing your armpits can easily disrupt the balance of these bacteria.

Doing so can increase the number of resident bacteria, which mixes with sweat in greater amounts and makes the smell stronger.
Also, scrubbing dries out your skin, which leads to excess sebum secretion. For this reason, make sure to wash gently with plenty of foam.
